Amber mkII Loudspeaker.
The Amber mkII is a model of loudspeakers built with large-caliber woofers and compression drivers.
The set offers a wide frequency response with high efficiency while minimizing discoloration. In the 2-way loudspeaker system, the low tones are generated from a pair of 12-inch cellulose high efficiency drivers with a relatively wide frequency range.
The mid and high tones are reproduced by a compression driver from the German company BMS which is placed in a tube specially designed by our engineers with a Tractrix profile.
Thanks to a well-thought-out concept we have created a set with huge potential in terms of scale and numbers of virtual sources. The appropriate selection of speakers combined with the division of the crossover frequency around 1200Hz creates the possibility of generating high acoustic pressure with low power delivered to the loudspeaker set.
The obtained sound is free from stereotypical ideas about the "horn" sound and maintains the right amount of finesse.
We recommend this set to people looking for concert experiences in a wide range of musical genres.
The columns are dedicated to rooms of size from 20 to 100 m2.

The German magazine HiFi-IFAs awarded 5.7 / 6 points for the Amber mkII construction.
"(...)In the listening room, I took the time to look at the Pylon Audio Amber mkII. The cabinet, which rests on the slender black base, is cubic and the edges are sharply defined. The wood is pleasantly natural thanks to the matte finish which makes it looks valuable. It's a nice contrast to the massive, technical shape. The columns take up space. If they are put in the right place, for example a loft or a large room, they will also work well as an element of interior design. (...) "
"(...)"Nicest Thing" is one of my favorite songs. I was amazed at the clarity and presence with which the vocals broke away from the powerful speakers set.(...)"
"(...) The bass was strong, but not exaggerated. The voice and the light synth piano kept their presence without overlapping - even when the song threatened to plunge into chaos. (...) "
"(...)Then that bittersweet voice of Kate Nash and the electric fiddle again. What a contrast. I went further inspired by the space as well as Kate Nash's extroverted, playful vocal in "Foundations", which the Amber mkII also recreated beautifully.(...) "
"(...)Pylon Audio spoke to me, I was looking for the music that always turned me on."Ask me" by The Smiths slipped into the playlist. Young Morrissey's singing sounded like Sturm und Drang, electric bass and drums drifting through a song from the years 1980s and took me a few decades back.(...) "
"(...)The Amber mkII plays directly and clearly in the high and medium frequencies, which are also noticeable in the vocals. Despite the size of the cabinet, the sound is surprisingly loosely detached from the loudspeakers, even at a relatively short listening distance, creating a pleasant spatial atmosphere.(...) "
